Introduction
Metadata Workshops are designed to:- Provide an understanding of metadata and good spatial data management practices
- Gain knowledge of the various metadata standards (ISO 19115, INSPIRE and UK GEMINI 2.1) for spatial data
- Introduce and explain the UK Academic Geospatial Metadata Application Profile Version 2.1 (UK AGMAP 2.1) and Guidelines
- Demonstrate the GoGeo portal
- Show how to use the Geodoc Metadata Editor Tool

EDINA runs several Metadata Workshops per year. Please visit this page again or read the GoGeo! Metadata News Newsletter for upcoming workshop announcements. EDINA provides online booking forms for those interested in attending workshops.
